What You Experience

Come see some of the most amazing wildlife Huatulco has to offer. Travel an hour and half to the beautiful small town and wildlife preserve of La Ventanilla. Enjoy the eerie quiet and stillness of the water as your guide takes you through the lagoon keeping your eyes open for some of the largest species of crocodiles in North America plus other reptiles such as turtles, iguanas and the birds that inhabit this area. Disembark the boats on the island to visit the crocodile museum and a chance to see the wildlife on land enjoying the sun. Feed the animals rescued by SEMARNAP such as Yupi the spider monkey and the small white-tailed deer. Then enjoy lunch (not included in price) at the local island restaurant. Shop for a few souvenirs and sample some Mezcal before going back to the boats to go back to the van and drive another 20 mins when back to the highway to the World-Famous Beach of Escobilla for your chance to release newly hatched turtles in the ocean, possibly see nesting turtles and learn about their incredible life story from local Biologists working to conserve and protect this incredible species.
